Kids Class
Jiu-jitsu is like a game of chess, the children who understand how to keep calm under pressure and solve the problems they face logically, progress the quickest!
Jiu jitsu gives children a self defence system to combat aggression and conflict with composure and poise. Increasing their confidence, making them more robust mentally and physically and improves their decision making abilities in everyday life!

Parents are asked to attend where possible as it works best if there is an adult between every 2-3 kids. It’s great fitness for grown ups as well!
KIDS CURRICULUM
We run off a curriculum where children start with 10 jiu-jitsu games to teach them basic movements.
Once they understand these techniques they can progress to learn 33 fundamental techniques of jiu-jitsu that run parallel to the adults program. The only difference being that kids focus on control based techniques but don’t learn chokes for safety reasons.
These techniques teach you how to defend against various attacks including strikes and headlocks. Allowing you to escape situations or restrain people without hurting or damaging the other person.
